Field Director

A Democratic State Assembly candidate in Manhattan is seeking a reliable, full-time field organizer to assist with campaign organizing in a competitive state-level general election campaigns this election cycle.

Qualifications

• Reliable access to a car
• Able to work full-time out
• Passion for politics and organizing
• Previous organizing experience (preferably in field)

Responsibilities

• The Field Director will manage our growing team of volunteers and interns.
• Identify, recruit, and train volunteers to engage in direct voter contact, such as door knocking, phone banking, and other activities for both voter persuasion and turnout.
• Hit weekly goals for volunteer recruitment calls, and guide volunteer teams to meet weekly canvassing goals.
• Assist in planning and staffing campaign events.
• Use VAN to examine data, and cut turf and phone lists.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
